In December 1973, myself , my husband and our three children went to Penang on holiday. My family and Adeline's family stayed in a lovely chalet by the beach at Batu Feringghi for a few days. Coincidentally, Adeline celebrated her 16th birthday on 5th December.

These photos show what a wonderful time everyone was having in such a lovely, idyllic seaside setting in Penang. I remember Adeline as a gentle and lovely lady.

About 3 weeks ago, God called her Home to His glorious Kingdom where there is no pain or suffering : to a place of eternal peace, joy and happiness.

In our loss, let us be comforted by what Jesus says in John 14:2-3: "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you . And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also." We thank the Lord Jesus for His matchless love and wonderful promise of eternal life in His Father's Kingdom. So let us be prepared by being watchful and prayerful.
