Adeline stayed with us (her cousins) while doing pre-university at Anglo-Chinese School in Singapore. I remember that she was a talented sprinter as a teenager. My father, a top sprinter himself, thought very highly of her. She was the first person I knew who had 'spike' shoes - awesome to a young person in 1970s Singapore - and I aspired to her standard. Adeline also had an artistic side, working late into the night on decoupage and fascinating us with her creations. Rest in God's peace and love, Adeline, rejoicing now with your father and other loved ones in Heaven.
